ICPEM professional membership academic descriptors

The ICPEM is keen to align its membership criteria and levels with more generic criteria, rather than the hitherto focus on EM topics. This coincides with the ongoing reforms taking place internationally in Higher Education and vocational education and presents an opportunity for the ICPEM to compare and map its developmental membership levels (Student, Associate, Member and Fellow) with other professional organisations, whatever their field.  The ICPEM membership level descriptors provide an appropriate approach to supporting potential members identifying which level of membership they should apply for when applying to join the ICPEM as well as indicating to current Members the various indicators linked to potential advancement to Fellow.

Problems with membership fees or conference fees?

Is your organisation baulking against paying your membership or conference fees? If so, help is at hand for ICPEM members or prospective members. If your organisation is a client of Community Resilience they will pay half of your membership fees or your conference fees (less accommodation and travel) to your organisation. But you need to speak wıth them on 0300 999 2004 or 01622 004679 to find out whether your organisation is a client and, if so, to make the necessary arrangements.

We are delighted to receive applications for membership from students, recently qualified practitioners, experienced individuals, organisations, agencies and companies, and those with an interest in the vast world of resilience and civil protection.
The Membership policy can be download on this page and should answer any queries you may have concerning any aspect of ICPEM membership. However, should you be unable to find the answer you are looking for, simply email the registrar at membership@icpem.net
